Stakeholder engagement

It's easy to take for granted the working relationships we enjoy with our key clients and stakeholders. Pepole do business with people, not organisations. Productive working relationships need to be carefully monitored and nurtured.

Working relationships are not static. When circumstances change the key players can change too, so relationships may need to be re-established. This is happening all the time, key people change roles, the organisations you work with change direction and so on.

Strategic partnerships are a critical ingredient for growing businesses that are looking for innovative ways to expand. There are synergies and economies to be had by joining forces with like-minded companies that have similar values and complementary skills. Sharing resources and expertise can help in taking the next leap towards business growth.

Like quality cheese, building sustainable relationships takes considerable time and effort but the results are worth it.

Making the most of stakeholder engagement

So how can we help?

We work alongside leaders and managers and provide the tools and techniques to help you prioritise and manage key partner and stakeholder relationships in changing and sometimes complex environments.

We have the knowledge to assist you with unearthing new prospective partners and gaining independent feedback on existing stakeholder relationships. We also have considerable experience managing cross sector relationships.

We recognise that some of the best partnerships evolve over time so we help you to put in place the right building blocks for them to succeed. These may include stakholder management programmes, partner agreements or formal arrangements for how you will work together and how to resolve differences as they come along.

Our experience

We have helped professional associations, not-for-profit organisations and corporates with building mutually beneficial partnerships leading to multi-year sponsorships and support for innovative education projects and successful events.

We have assisted with successful funding proposals enabling major research projects to get underway and secured funding for visiting overseas speakers. We have been actively involved in forging education partnerships with professional associations and suppliers. This has led to more cross discipline collaboration, successful education events and improved access to busy health and education professionals.

We have led a number of multi party and cross sector projects requiring extensive consultation and negotiation to reach shared visions and clear understandings for constructively working together as well as resolving differences in a professional manner.
